Chelsea were once again beaten on the road as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Blues were hugely wasteful in front of goal and were made to pay for their lack of clinical edge with the hosts taking all three points in the west Midlands.
It was a positive first-half for the visitors at Molineux but somehow the game was goalless at the break. Raheem Sterling missed a golden opportunity where he could have played it to one of his teammates for an easier chance.
Mario Lemina then put the hosts a goal ahead early in the second-half and that was enough for the three points. Matt Doherty scored Wolves' second in stoppage time to make sure of the win for the home side.
Christopher Nkunku then scored in stoppage time to give Chelsea some hope but it wasn't enough. Below, Bobby Vincent rates each of the Chelsea players that featured at Molineux.
Djordje Petrovic – Does really well on 38 minutes to sweep up. Passed it really well. Looks so composed on the ball. Fantastic save early in the second-half to deny a close-range header from Toti Gomes. 7.
Malo Gusto – Offered an attacking threat. Didn't realise just how quick he is when he gets going. Did well I thought, but his performance somewhat deteriorated in the second period. 5.
Axel Disasi – Won some crucial headers in the Chelsea box when required. Wolves were dangerous with set-pieces but Disasi's physicality and ability in the air was highly useful for the visitors at Molineux. However, started the second-half in an awkward style and almost gave away a goal with a poor mistake. 5.
