Chelsea have slapped a £50million price tag on Conor Gallagher after a verbal enquiry from West Ham, talkSPORT understands.
Gallagher, who is also attracting interest from Tottenham, is relaxed about his future.
As well as Gallagher, West Ham are interested in Scott McTominay, James Ward-Prowse, Ajax’s Edson Alvarez and Monaco star Youssouf Fofana.
The Hammers have had two offers for Fulham's Joao Palhinha rejected.
Gallagher has two-years remaining on his existing deal with Chelsea knowing this summer represents the last opportunity to secure a sizable offer for the England international.
The 23-year-old made 35 appearances in the Premier League last season, scoring three goals.
It came after previous loan spells at West Brom and Crystal Palace, with his heroics at Selhurst Park in the 2021/22 season handing him the title of the Eagles’ player of the year.
Gallagher has kicked off pre-season in good form and scored in last weekend’s 4-3 victory over Brighton in Philadelphia.
But despite his bright start under new boss Mauricio Pochettino, uncertainty surrounds his future at Stamford Bridge.
A departure would leave Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino short of bodies in midfield following the exit of Jorginho in January and recently, N’Golo Kante, Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Chelsea remain locked in discussions to sign Moises Caicedo but have been unable to match Brighton’s asking price of in excess of £100m.
The Ecuadorian has been subject of a long-running transfer saga since coming close to a move to Arsenal in January.
Chelsea have since taken the lead in the chase for the highly-rated midfielder and hope to conclude a deal before the end of the transfer window.
