Chelsea are back in action when they welcome Preston North End to Stamford Bridge in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday. The Blues will kick off their final cup campaign of the season when Championship side Preston come to London hoping to take the scalp of Mauricio Pochettino's side.
Pochettino has taken his team to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup this campaign and will be hoping for a similar run in the FA Cup. Chelsea's likely only chances of success this season is expected to come in the cup competitions having found themselves in tenth place after 20 matches in the Premier League, a whopping 12 points behind Arsenal in fourth place.
Despite the Blues' game against Preston being shifted to a traditional kick-off time for television in 5.30pm, the game is curiously not being shown live on linear television in the United Kingdom. The FA has spread games out across Saturday and Sunday but has not made every match available for broadcast domestically despite taking place at a time normally reserved for television coverage in the UK, though the Chelsea game is being shown live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.
A total of 14 games have been moved from Saturday at 3pm to either Saturday at 12:30pm, 5:30pm or Sunday at 2pm but are not being shown on TV in the UK. As far as Chelsea's game against Preston is concerned, the match is being shown worldwide through the FA's broadcast and streaming partners including beIN SPORTS, Premier Sports, SportKlub and ViaPlay.
