Chelsea will face Spurs at Stamford Bridge tonight with both sides in big need of three points.

The Blues are coming off the back of a 5-0 defeat to Arsenal and a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa while Spurs are still reeling from back-to-back defeats to Arsenal and Newcastle after shipping seven goals in those two games alone. Chelsea currently sit in ninth on 48 points and chasing those European spots while Spurs are seven points off Aston Villa with two games in hand in the race to qualify for the Champions League.

Tonight's game is the reverse fixture of what is surely one of the Premier League's most eventful matches in its history. The November clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium saw two red cards and five yellows, five goals that were disallowed or overturned by VAR and 21 minutes of added time. Spurs took the lead early on before Cole Palmer levelled for Chelsea.

But Spurs succumbed to the Blues after going down to nine men as Ange Postecoglou's high line was ruthlessly punished late on by Nicholas Jackson, who bagged a hat-trick to seal a memorable 4-1 away win.
