With Tunisia defenders quick to cover their goal line, the Brave Warriors were unable to make the most of their early chances.
Namibia grew in confidence as the half progressed and edged Tunisia to the ball possession count after 30 minutes played at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium.
The Brave Warriors remained defensively sound all the way to the break, while the Carthage Eagles oversaw a largely disappointing half by their standards.
Much like that of the first half, Tunisia started the second half with energy and vigor as Kazapua was once again called into making a crucial save early on.
Then, the game opened up toward the hour-mark, with both sides showcasing their attacking intent.
Hotto and Peter Shalulile continued to link up well going forward and created the best chances for their nation.
Coach Collin Benjamin was the first to show his hand from the bench and introduced Bethuel Muzeu and Ngero Katue into the fold with the hope of changing the complexion of the tie.
Nonetheless, it was Tunisia who looked the better outfit as the 75th minute
