Then Ronaldo will obviously want to get in on the act too and extend plenty of records that he already has.
The 38-year-old, who started the influx of stars to Saudi Arabia earlier this year, is already the top international goalscorer with 123 goals in 200 games.
Portugal face Slovakia and Luxembourg in their Euro 2024 qualifiers in September and Ronaldo’s eyes will be lighting up against one of those teams.
