Manchester United are reportedly planning to make a shock U-turn and move to bring David de Gea back to the club.
The goalkeeper was let go by the Red Devils at the end of his contract in the summer, bringing an end to his 12 years with the Premier League giants that saw him rack up a whopping 545 appearances.
Man United recruited Andre Onana from Inter Milan, bringing the former Ajax man in for £47.2million as De Gea's replacement.

That's despite them turning away from the player in such a way that led captain Bruno Fernandes to publicly disagree with De Gea not getting a proper send off.
The 32-year-old was offered a wage cut to stay at Old Trafford, with his pay cheque being reduced from £375,000 a week to £200,000. However, that deal was later taken off the table.
The Spaniard has not played for another club since his departure.
However, he did attend a Man United Women's game
