Novak Djokovic met Lionel Messi in New York City as the Argentinian continues to acclimatise to life in the United States.
Messi joined Inter Miami in July and has already begun to prove his soccer quality by leading his new club to the Leagues Cup trophy.
'La Pulga' completed his career in December when he finally won the FIFA World Cup after an incredible performance throughout the tournament and has been riding on cloud nine ever since.

The latest landmark moment is that he got to meet Novak Djokovic in NYC. Messi is said to be a big fan of tennis and the chance to meet a 23-time Grand Slam winner is something he no doubt relished.
Djokovic is in the United States ahead of the US Open, where the Serbian looks to regain his tennis supremacy following his thrilling defeat to Carlos Alcaraz in 2023's Wimbledon final.
The US Open is Djokovic's joint-least successful tournament, even though he has still won it three times. His last triumph in the USA was in 2018 and he looks to get his hands on the silver trophy again from August 28th.
