Liverpool Football Club will be raising their ticket prices next season, blaming it on rising operating costs - but fans in our comments section say it's still a good deal for supporters. Season tickets and members matchday ticket prices will be upped by 2%.
Liverpool’s have increased by 4% over two years, but that fares well against other increases seen over the same period at Arsenal (12%), and Manchester United (10%). Recently, Tottenham Hotspur increased season ticket prices by up to 6%, with Brighton & Hove Albion’s increasing by 8%. Chelsea is also expected to increase season ticket prices from next year.
Spirit of Shankly, the supporters' union, said in a statement: For a second successive season, Liverpool have chosen to increase ticket prices for supporters. This is despite record commercial revenues and a place as the seventh richest football club in the world. They didn’t have to do this."

Putting it against clubs in London who charge £1500 upwards for season tickets, we are still placed in the 'reasonable' category on pricing. Its an emotive subject, and having 4 kids, its tough to either a) get tickets or b) afford them all for 1 game."
