According to Fabrizio Romano, Eduardo Camavinga (20) is set to sign a new 6-year contract extension at Real Madrid. The France international will sign a new deal to extend his stay at the Santiago Bernabéu until 2029. Camavinga’s new deal will also include a release clause worth €1bn.
The 20-year-old has cemented himself as a key figure in Carlo Ancelotti’s team over the past 2 seasons and is set to be rewarded with a new and improved contract as a result. Fede Valverde and Vinicius Jr. are also expected to sign new contracts at Madrid alongside the former Rennes midfielder. Camavinga signed for Real Madrid for a reported fee of €30m in 2021.
The Rennes academy graduate’s versatility has become a key weapon with Ancelotti’s arsenal, with Camavinga sometimes stationed at left back. The French midfielder has already featured 11 times for Real Madrid this season, playing a total of 645 minutes.
