Newly-promoted Wrexham have been priced as the favourites to secure next season League Two title and achieve back-to-back promotions for the first time in the club's history. Phil Parkinson's side secured promotion after a tense title fight with Notts County — who eventually joined them via the play-offs — after both sides achieved an unprecedented 100+ points haul.
The Welsh club, owned by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny, secured promotion from the National League after spending 15 years in non-league after suffering relegation from the Football League back in 2008. Since then, the fans have gone through plenty with protests over ownership and even saw their beloved Kop become inaccessible and derelict for a number of years before their current owners announced its redevelopment last year.
However, they do have a number of competitors to deal with in their Hollywood-era with both Stockport and Notts County tipped to give Wrexham another title challenge this season. Stockport secured a fourth-place finish having missed out on a promotion spot by four points before losing on penalties to Carlisle United in the play-off final back in May. Elsewhere, play-off winners Notts County will be looking to keep up the pace set by Wrexham after a thrilling title-challenge last season separated by just four points sets the mark that these two sides will be evenly matched again this season.
Other notable challengers will be Salford City — led by Gary Neville and Class of 92 teammates — and Bradford City — coached by former Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City manager Mark Hughes — who both crashed out in last season's play-off semi-finals respectively.
Here are the latest odds on the outright League Two title:
