Prior to his move, it was widely considered Mount would make the move to Old Trafford due to his ambitions of playing for the Red Devils and the lure of Champions League football.
He has become Ten Hag's first acquisition of the summer and speaking after their pre-season friendly against Leeds United, the Dutchman expressed his delight at the capture.
