Everton are currently spending more per week on players' wages compared to their Premier League relegation rivals this season.
The Blues managed to confirm their survival in the top flight this past weekend after defeating Brentford 1-0 on Saturday. This result, coupled with defeats for Luton Town and Nottingham Forest, ensured Sean Dyche's side will be back in the top flight again next year.
It has been yet another season of worry for the Blues' supporters after Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) breaches saw the club docked eight points in total by the Premier League. Had this action not been taken by the Premier League, Everton would be sat 13th in the top flight, above Fulham and behind Brighton & Hove Albion on goal difference.

According to Capology, without the points deduction, the Blues are sitting around where they should be in the Premier League table based on their salary bill. Figures suggest they are spending £1,524,000 per week on players' wages with Abdoulaye Doucoure the top earner on £130,000 per week.
Doucoure is closely followed by Jordan Pickford on £125,000-a-week, while Andre Gomes is earning £112,308. Dele Alli, James Tarkowski, Amadou Onana and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are all bringing in £100,000 weekly.
Forest are the closest relegation rival compared to the Blues on the list, spending £1,283,000 per week. Their current top earner is Divock Origi who earns £120,000 per week.
Unsurprisingly, Everton's remaining relegation rivals are towards the bottom end of spenders in the Premier League: Brentford are spending £836,000 per week; Burnley dish out £707,000 per week, while Luton Town are the lowest spenders on £469,000
