What’s the team news on Saka, Saliba and Trossard?
Not a lot. We haven’t had a lot of players. We’re going to do our first training session today and we’ll know more after the session.
Did the international break come at a good time?
When you are on a good run you want to continue. We have used it in the right way. We have a lot of players on duty. Connect everybody in their mindset and go because we’re going to have a really difficuly game at Chelsea.
What did Pep say to you after City?
Nothing unusual. We have obviously lost quite a lot against them and you get a lot of congratulations when you win an important game. It was a beautiful day for us and we move on.
Is it still a two horse race with City even though there are two teams involved?
I don’t have a clue who is going to be involved. We want to be there, that’s the only thing that I know. The league is so demanding. You see it every week. I think it’s going to be very open.
Looking forward to the Chelsea game?
It’s a big game and there is a big history between the two clubs. We know the types of games we’ve played together with them in the past but this is a different one. I’ve been really impressed by Chelsea. I think they deserve much more than what they’ve got in the table. What Mauricio has done in a short time is phenomenal. We’ll have to be at our best tomorrow.
It’s a return to Chelsea for Kai Havertz…
And Jorgi too. I’m sure they’ll be excited. They were there and they talked really highly about the club. I’m sure it’ll be a special day for them.
