Robbie Savage has revealed it was the proper decision to remove Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo from the running for the 2023 Ballon d'Or award after the nominees were revealed.
The 38-year-old forward misses out on being nominated for the prestigious individual award for the first time since 2003 despite scoring 31 goals for Al Nassr and the Portugal national team in 2023.
According toSportskeeda, Savage insisted that Ronaldo simply did not do enough to be considered among the contenders for the Ballon d’Or award this year despite his heroics for Al Nassr.
