Former Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci was reportedly aware of Nicolo Fagioli's alleged betting, while Nicolo Zaniolo is willing to testify over his alleged gambling habits.
Aston Villa winger Zaniolo, Juventus player Fagioli and Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali have all been named as part of an investigation being conducted by Turin prosecutors that has rocked Italian football.
Zaniolo and Tonali were both released from the Italy squad after being questioned by Italian authorities at the squad's training base on the outskirts of Florence on Thursday.
The players involved could face worldwide football bans of up to three years if they are found to have broken the rules.
Under Italian regulations, athletes are forbidden from betting on the sports in which they participate.
Corriere dello Sport reported Fagioli is ready to negotiate with the FIGC [Italian league] prosecutor Giuseppe Chine to try and secure a reduced punishment, while Tonali is ready to testify before the Italian FA.
Meanwhile, La Repubblica say that Bonucci, who now plays for Union Berlin, was aware of Fagioli's gambling habits.
There is no evidence Bonucci participated in the gambling but phone conversations revealed to the prosecutors he was one of many who knew Fagioli liked to gamble.
Reports in Gazzetta dello Sport say Zaniolo may have played blackjack and poker on illegal platforms but he didn't realise they were illegal and he didn't bet on football at all.
Zaniolo's lawyer Gianluca Tognozzi told Gazzetta: 'Nicolo never bet. He also told me this. It is possible he played card games such as poker and blackjack on illegal online platforms, without knowing that they were [illegal]. We will clarify everything.'
