Manchester City will discover who they will be facing in the FIFA Club World Cup this lunchtime when the draw for the tournament takes place.
Pep Guardiola's men have never featured in the prestigious competition but qualified in June when they beat Inter in Istanbul. By winning the UEFA Champions League, City have automatically progressed to the semi-finals alongside the eventual winners of the Copa Libertadores.
Alongside the South American champions, City will be competing against the winners of the different federations' Champions Leagues as well as the champions of the host nation Saudi Arabia, Al-Ittihad. The tournament will take place between Tuesday, December 12 and Friday, December 22 meaning the Blues will have to accommodate the competition during their already hectic Premier League schedule.
While not as big of a stage in Europe, the Club World Cup is highly respected among clubs from other continents and there is no doubting Guardiola would want to add the trophy to the Blues' ever-growing cabinet.
Follow the updates from the draw in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia below.
First and foremost, City have a bye to the semi-finals.
The first match of the competition will be between Al Ittihad and Auckland City to determine who takes the last spot in the second round.
The winner of Auckland City and Al Ittihad will join Urawa Red Diamonds, Al Ahly and Club Leon. The draw will determine who each team will face in this round.
After this has been conducted, we will discover who City will face from the winner of a second round match. The Copa Libertadores champions cannot face Guardiola's side in the semi-finals.
The draw for the FIFA Club World Cup will take place at 12pm UK time so not long to wait!
