Pictured with his parents in his home town, the child looks a world away from his 2024 reality, a steady stream of glittering locations, luxury cars, and awards in recognition of his sporting excellence.
The picture itself was even shared by the international star's own museum - a legacy that might have been unimaginable for the youngster when he posed for the snap.

The player in question is, of course, Cristiano Ronaldo, the focus of an Instagram post shared by his CR7 Museum of Funchal in Madeira, dedicated to his peerless career.
In the photograph, the Al-Nassr star poses alongside his mother Dolores and his father Jose Dinis Aveiro, the museum selecting the vintage snap in honour of Father's Day in Portugal.
Ronaldo's start in youth football stemmed from his father's role as the kit man at local club Andorinha, but the budding superstar would play on Madeira for just five years before being scouted by Portuguese big beasts Sporting CP at the age of 12.
The Manchester United player was to lose his father at the age of just 20 eight years later, with Aveiro dying of alcoholism-related liver failure after struggling with addiction for much of Ronaldo's childhood.
