Forgotten Chelsea star could hand Todd Boehly huge FFP boost with transfer audition

Chelsea have been handed an indirect transfer update on Kepa Arrizabalaga that could serve as a huge FFP boost. The Blues allowed Kepa to leave on a temporary basis following the arrival of Robert Sanchez with Real Madrid acquiring the former's services after ex-Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois picked up a serious injury.

During the opening months of the 2023/24 season, Kepa was the No.1 choice however that soon changed with Andriy Lunin impressing and establishing himself as the first-choice option. As a result,Los Blancos have already made the firm decision they will not attempt to sign Kepa on a permanent basis this summer, however that may change.

Courtois was ruled out for the season back in August however the Belgian international shockingly returned to training earlier this month. With Kepa set to return in the summer, Chelsea are expected to place him up for sale with Sanchez and Djorde Petrovic fighting for the number one jersey in west London.
