The League of Ireland has confirmed that four of Friday night's planned fixtures have fallen foul to the adverse weather conditions.
Tonight's SSE Airtricity Premier Division game between Shamrock Rovers and Drogheda United has been postponed due to a failed pitch inspection at Tallaght Stadium, while Bohemians' Dalymount Park clash with Dundalk has suffered the same fate.
Meanwhile, the First Division meeting of Wexford and Cobh Ramblers, due to take place in Ferrycarrig Park, has also been called off, as has Bray Wanderers' clash with Longford Town.
The league will issue details of rearrangements in due course.
