The Bayern Munich squad has been revealed ahead of their Champions League quarterfinal first-leg tie against Arsenal. The Gunners will welcome Thomas Tuchel's side to the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night as they both hope to get their hands on some silverware.
The Gunners will be keen to extend their unbeaten streak after enjoying a 3-0 win over Brighton at the Amex Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, the German outfit head into the fixture following a disastrous 3-2 defeat on the road to Heidenheim.
Harry Kane and Serge Gnabry fired Bayern Munich ahead in the first half before the home side netted three after the break. The Bavarians have lost back-to-back games in the Bundesliga, with Bayer Leverkusen one win away from snatching their crown.
While Tuchel's side have suffered tremendously in the top flight this term, they remain competitors in the Champions League – and their squad to face Arsenal has been revealed. Between the sticks, the former Chelsea manager has selected Manuel Neuer, Daniel Peretz and Sven Ulreich.
In defence, Dayot Upamecano, Kim Min-Jae, Matthijs De Ligt, Eric Dier, Alphonso Davies, Noussair Mazraoui and Raphael Guerreiro have been given the nod. In midfield, there's Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Konrad Laimer, Jamal Musiala and Aleksandar Pavlovic.
And then in attack, Tuchel has selected Kane, Gnabry, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman, Thomas Muller, Bryan Zaragoza, Mathys Tel and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. Arsenal have enjoyed a brilliant defensive record so far this season, so Bayern's frontmen will have to be at their very best on Tuesday night.
