Former Tottenham and Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has finally ditched the long hair and unveiled his new style while attending an MLS game in Los Angeles.
The retired footballer, who looked incredibly fit despite retirement, was in attendance to watch his former team Los Angeles FC as they hosted rivals Los Angeles Galaxy, but his iconic top knot is no more. Instead, the Welshman now has a shorter hairstyle, although it's still long on top and slicked back.
Bale announced his shock retirement from football on January 9, 2023, ending his career in MLS and bowing out with an MLS Cup winners medal. Bale's last involvement in football was scoring a 128th minute equaliser for LAFC in the MLS Cup final against Philadelphia Union, and the Los Angeles side went on to win the penalty shootout and lift the trophy for the first time.
Following a glamorous career with Southampton, Tottenham, Real Madrid, LAFC, and Wales, Bale decided to retire young and focus on his family, and of course golf. Bale has clearly been spending a lot of time outdoors and on the course, as he remains in excellent condition despite hanging up his boots over a year ago.
Bale has always been a keen golfer, and even had three of the most iconic holes in the sport built into his garden. His £4million mansion in the Vale of Glamorgan was approved for expansion a few years ago, and he wasted no time getting the golfing greens installed.
The couple have been together for over a decade, but tied the knot in the summer of 2019. Their first child, Alba Violet, was born back in 2012, followed by Nava Valentina, Axel Charles, and Xander Frank Bale, who they welcomed in July, 2021.
