Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has promised to bring back his old 'curtains' hairstyle if Liverpool win the Premier League this season.
Jurgen Klopp's side are currently sitting pretty at the top of the table after 20 games this season, but are being followed closely by Pep Guardiola's ever-present Manchester City side, who are just two points behind the Reds following a recent win against Newcastle United.
Which could all be about to change in the coming weeks, following the return of star man Kevin De Bruyne last weekend. The Belgian international suffered a hamstring injury during the opening game of the season against Burnley and required surgery to fix the issue. City welcomed him back as a second-half substitute against the Magpies last weekend with the score at 2-1 before he netted a quick-fire goal and assist to secure all three points for his squad.

Speaking on the latest episode of The Overlap, the topic of Kevin De Bruyne's new style of hair came about while discussing his return for City last weekend. Where former Reds defender Jamie Carragher and Neville reflected on their previous looks - admitting they both had 'curtains' haircuts. "I've never changed my hair! I used to have curtains but as a player, I've never changed," Carragher said.
"I used to have curtains when I was about 14 and I used to have a spike when I was about ten. Remember the player Paul Bracewell, he had a spike so I used to get my hair gelled [like him]." To which Jill Scott suggested: "If Liverpool win the league, bring the curtains back!"
