Georginio Wiljnaldum is set for a Liverpool reunion as he prepares to join Al Ettifaq.
The midfielder will have a medical with a view to an £8.6million move.
Wiljnaldum currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain but his future at the club is unclear since the arrival of new boss Luis Enrique.
As well as offering the chance of a lucrative new chapter in his career, the 32-year-old would be welcomed by some rather familiar faces.
Wiljnaldum spent five years with Liverpool between 2016 and 2021 where he was part of a new-look Reds midfield following Steven Gerrard's retirement in 2015.

Henderson ended a 10-year stay at Anfield to join Al Ettifaq this summer, claiming the captain's armband ahead of the Saudi Pro League season.
Wijnaldum made 237 appearances during his time at Liverpool, scoring 22 goals in the process.
If the duo, under Gerrard's leadership, can recreate some of the displays showed by Liverpool during their time together on Merseyside then it could be a very exciting proposition for Al Ettifaq fans and supporters of the Saudi Pro League.
