Guglielmo Vicario makes Tottenham promise with four-word message after Fulham defeat

Guglielmo Vicario has issued a clear response after Tottenham's disastrous 3-0 defeat to Fulham in Premier League action. The Italy international could do nothing to prevent the three goals flying past him, however he was able to keep the score down at Craven Cottage on a horrendous evening for Spurs.

Rodrigo Muniz (x2) and Sasa Lukic were on target in the victory with Raul Jimenez being in an offside position denying Joao Palhinha a fourth. James Maddison and Brennan Johnson both went close for Spurs, however they rarely troubled Bernd Leno's goal with the Germany international needed to make just five comfortable saves.

The defeat was Tottenham's second away at Fulham this season with the fixture also the first one Ange Postecoglou's side have not scored in. After the game, the Tottenham boss did not mince his words as he appeared to admit it was the worst performance under his stewardship.

«I think the first half was even enough, we had enough of the play, we had enough of the chances,» Postecoglou admitted after the game. «We conceded a bad goal but there's nothing there I didn't think we couldn't overcome. But the second half after we conceded the second one we just didn't reach the levels of intensity and tempo we've had all year.
