Chelsea could end the weekend in seventh place having gone into their fixture against Manchester United in 12th. With seconds left to play, they were a matchday away from being 13th.

That run was extended against Manchester United on Thursday.Despite a host of key players continuing to sit matches out through injury and fitness problems, Chelsea could move to within two points of their rivals by the close of play.

Injury: Illness
Chilwell played twice for England in the international break against Brazil and Belgium. Having come back from injury before the international break. Chelsea were surprised at his involvement and the player didn't play against Burnley either with problems mounting again for the defender.
He was not included in the squad against Manchester United and remains a doubt for Sheffield United on Sunday.
