French giants Paris Saint-Germain are bidding to reach the UEFA Champions League semifinals on Tuesday, April 16.
They face Barcelona in Catalonia needing to overturn a 3-2 deficit from the first leg in Paris, in which Luis Enrique's side fought back from a goal down only to go on to lose.
PSG are bidding to reach the last four of the Champions League for just the third time in the era of their wealthy Qatar Sports Investments backing. They got all the way to the final in 2019/20, where they were beaten 1-0 by Bayern Munich, and their most recent semifinal appearance came in 2020/21, when they lost 4-1 on aggregate to Manchester City.
This year could also be the last in which Kylian Mbappe turns out for PSG in Europe's grandest competition. The France star is expected to leave the club at the end of the season, with Real Madrid his predicted destination on a free transfer.

Although he has won 14 club trophies throughout his career to date, plus the 2018 FIFA World Cup with France, the Champions League remains elusive for Mbappe.
