Liverpool legend Steve Nicol has tipped the Reds to replace Mohamed Salah with a big-money talent, stating: "He would be fantastic."
Nicol believes Victor Osimhen would be an excellent acquisition for Liverpool, especially as Salah continues to be linked with a move away.
Since joining Liverpool in 2017, Salah has been the star player at Anfield. However, rumours of his departure have been circulating, particularly now that Jurgen Klopp is leaving.
Despite fending off interest from Saudi Arabia last summer, it's anticipated that these suitors will return.

Salah's departure would leave a significant void in the team. He has consistently topped the club's goalscoring charts every season since he arrived in Merseyside. Nicol insists that if Liverpool are to bring in a new face, they must replace him with a prolific striker.
Speaking on ESPN FC, Nicol said: "The fact that Salah is going to be going, whether this year or next year, Osimhen? I think he would be fantastic for Liverpool. The middle of the park, we've just signed Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, Endo's turned out to be incredible, you need someone who will run all day and give it to Mac Allister, Szoboszlai and Salah."
Nicol also suggested that signing Osimhen, who has helped Napoli win Serie A, would mean Darwin Nunez would have to play in a wider role. Although Nunez, the former Benfica man, has shown promise, his finishing has been criticised, while Osimhen has proven himself to be ruthless in front of goal.
