Rasmus Hojlund made Premier League history as the Manchester United striker's double ensured his side survived a scare from lowly Luton in their 2-1 win on Sunday.
The Dane became the youngest player to score in six consecutive Premier League games after netting twice in the first seven minutes at Kenilworth Road. At 21 years 14 days old, Hojlund surpassed Newcastle midfielderJoe Willock's previous record set when he was 21 years 272 days old.
"Hojlund is only 21 but he could become that guy who scores 25, 30 goals a season. We saw today he’s got everything in his locker. He’s strong, he gets chances and he scores goals," United legend Peter Schmeichel said on Sunday.
The 60-year-old went on to add: "The team needs to understand him a bit better but there are no boundaries to what this guy can achieve. He is so good."
