Losing the 33-year-old would come as a blow to Jurgen Klopp on the back of James Milner's summer exit, who would lose his skipper and vice-captain in the same transfer window if a move to the Middle East materialises. Both individuals have been known for their ability to set the standards throughout the Anfield career, something Lampard has insisted supporters often overlook.
