Goncalo Ramos is not having a good first season at Paris Saint-Germain. The striker has not had the desired playing time since his arrival from Benfica. He has decided to explain in an interview the reasons for some situations.
"I had a complicated month of December. First I contracted a virus which then turned into a colon infection," he told 'Record'.
"I spent 20 days bleeding and throwing up, unable to eat, with a very high fever. I had to go to hospital four times and I was on IV fluids. I lost eight kilos and, during my adaptation stage in France, that didn't help.
"Then I had to regain weight in the middle of the season, do a pre-season in January, which is not easy. I was lucky because it's a quieter month in competition, but it was difficult to get back into the rhythm after missing so much time. I started on 10 December and didn't train until the 21st," he explained.
