Conor Bradley is currently enjoying a run in the Liverpool starting XI after the Reds lost Trent Alexander-Arnold to a knee injury.
The Northern Ireland international impressed in Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over Fulham in the League Cup semi-finals earlier this week when handed a start in the absence of Jurgen Klopp’s senior right-back. Days earlier he had caught the eye off the bench in an FA Cup victory at Arsenal.
Boasting five appearances so far this season, such a tally would certainly be higher had the defender not been ruled out until November after suffering a back injury in pre-season. Speaking after Liverpool’s win over Fulham, Klopp would share how he had been itching to hand Bradley an opportunity following that untimely setback.
“I was waiting for that moment that we can give him the opportunity,” Klopp told reporters. “I was really waiting for it because when he was injured in pre-season, my opinion about him was already high. And then he was out for a pretty long time.

“A top boy. Today was pretty intense for him. Someone has to drive him home, hopefully, because he is sitting in the dressing room and not looking great! He gave his absolute everything and it is just so nice to see. It’s really cool that he could show how good he already is. And of course there is so much more to come.”
