Graeme Souness has explained why he could see Jurgen Klopp managing Barcelona in the future.
Klopp announced on Friday that he would be stepping down from his role as Liverpool manager at the end of the season. The result has seen speculation about who the Reds plan to replace the 56-year-old with in the summer.
Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso and Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim have been listed as potential candidates in some reports. It remains to be seen who Liverpool will look to interview for the role as and when the appropriate time arrives.
On the other side, there has also been speculation about Klopp's future in the game. The German has insisted that he will not manage a club or national team for 12 months, and has promised that he will never take charge of another team in England out of respect for Liverpool.

Souness, who had a spell managing the Reds in the 1990s, has suggested that Klopp could take on the job at Barcelona. Souness' comments came before current Barca boss Xavi announced that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season.
With uncertainty set to dominate the next few months, Souness outlined the three clubs that he thinks Klopp could join. Barcelona are one of them, and Souness also believes the idea of pursuing a job in international football is also possible for Klopp.
