Liverpool's search for a new manager is continuing as the Reds look to put plans in place for the future of the club.
The red half of Merseyside was rocked last month when Jurgen Klopp announced he would be departing at the end of the season. Stressing he is 'running out of energy', the German head coach is in the final phase of his Liverpool career.
Such is the nature of football, talk has already turned to who may replace Klopp next season. The favourite at this stage is Bayer Leverkusen's Xabi Alonso who is currently spearheading the Bundesliga club's title charge against Bayern Munich.

Whoever does arrive at Anfield in the summer is set to receive funds to work with, if football finance expert Kieran Maguire is to be believed. In an interview with Football Insider, Maguire is confident FSG will back the new boss in the close season.
"When it comes to the transfer market, Liverpool have been one of the leading clubs when it comes to spending smart rather than spending big," he explained. "They have also been very good at generating money from player sales.
"Put those two factors together, and the new coach in the summer will inherit a huge budget thanks to their flexibility in terms of Financial Fair Play (FFP). That isn’t necessarily matched by their rival clubs in the 'big six'."
Elsewhere, Liverpool are reportedly set to block Klopp from returning straight to management at the end of the campaign. According to Sport, Barcelona have made the German their top target to replace the departing Xavi next season.
