Premier League great Ian Wright has pinpointed Liverpool striker Cody Gakpo for criticism following their dramatic 4-3 defeat against Manchester United.

Gakpo replaced Mohamed Salah with 13 minutes of the second-half remaining, while Liverpool led 2-1. But Antony netted his second goal of the season with three minutes left of normal time before Marcus Rashford and Amad gave United the lead for the first time since the latter stages of the first half.
But Wright was left less than impressed by the Dutchman's cameo. He said: "Obviously they will be disappointed with it because like he (Klopp) said there were chances where Liverpool could have finished it off.
"The final ball and finishing weren't really great. I don't think Cody Gakpo did too much when he came on, but at the same time you have to get over this.
"They know how it works at this stage of the season and what tey have got to try and do. They are trying to win the League and are still in the Europa League.
