Manchester United ended Liverpool's quest for a quadruple of trophies in Jurgen Klopp's final season after Amad Diallo's winner edged a thrilling FA Cup quarter-final 4-3 after extra-time.
"I'm happy for him. He's been working hard this year and he's probably not had the opportunities that we would have wished," Marcus Rashford told 'ITV1' following his side's qualification for the next round on Sunday.
"But listen, if he wants to have more opportunities, there's not better way to prove it than nights like tonight," the English winger added. Diallo has been in the spotlight in recent weeks as he deleted all his United-related posts on social media.
The Ivorian forward explained that he wants "to focus on Ramadan" until next month and that social media is distracting him. "It’s a holy month for me and social media is a place where there are bad things to see during fasting. Stop the hatred, there’s nothing wrong with what I did;" he explained.
