Chelsea stormed to a huge victory over Everton in Premier League action at Stamford Bridge on Monday evening. Cole Palmer continued his superb form by finding the back of the net four times with Nicolas Jackson and Alfie Gilchrist also on target.
The Blues had a number of key players absent but that was barely noticed with Chelsea putting in such a dominant display. Axel Disasi, Enzo Fernandez and Raheem Sterling were all missing from the matchday squad but there is hope the trio will be back to face Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final this weekend.
Noni Madueke has also handed Mauricio Pochettino a fresh injury concern after hobbling off but it does not look to be anything significant. With that said, football.london has taken a look at the latest Chelsea injury news before their trip to Wembley to take on Man City.
Noni Madueke was withdrawn in the 72nd minute against Everton after being on the end of a number of strong challenges which required him to be seen by club physios. Despite his number being shown, Madueke appeared to be trying to signal to the bench that he was still okay to continue despite coming off worse for wear from one of those challenges.
When he was replaced by Carney Chukwuemeka, Madueke headed straight down the tunnel but he later returned to watch the final minutes from the bench.
Possible return date: Manchester City (N) — FA Cup semi-final — April 20.
