Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping to welcome back a key Chelsea trio for this weekend's FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City. The Blues have been battered by injuries this season, with 10 first-team players unavailable for Monday's 6-0 win against Everton.
Noni Madueke could be added to that list ahead of the Manchester City clash, but there is hope his problem and eventual substitution was because of an impact challenge. Even if the England Under-21 international is available, Pochettino may choose to leave him and Nicolas Jackson out of the starting XI following their respective roles in the penalty spat with Cole Palmer.
However, squad depth problems may leave Pochettino with no choice but to name the same starting XI if no one recovers in time for the Wembley trip. With that in mind, football.london has taken a look at the latest Chelsea injury news before they face City.
Noni Madueke was withdrawn in the 72nd minute against Everton after being on the end of a number of strong challenges that required him to be seen by club physios. Despite his number being shown, Madueke appeared to be trying to signal to the bench that he was still okay to continue despite coming off worse for wear from one of those challenges.
When he was replaced by Carney Chukwuemeka, Madueke headed straight down the tunnel, but he later returned to watch the final minutes from the bench.
