Ian Wright has backed his former club Arsenal to beat Premier League title rivals Liverpool at Anfield this weekend. The Gunners head into the clash after a dominant 2-0 win against Brighton last weekend while the Reds drew against bitter rivals Manchester United which allowed Arsenal to move top of the table.

As Wright mentions, last season's clash was a decisive one with a 2-2 draw hitting Arsenal's title charge significantly. Goals from Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli put Arsenal in front but Liverpool fought back from two goals down to snatch a point with Arsenal then not winning any of their next four games.
A victory against Liverpool would be a huge statement of intent from Arteta's side with Wright delivering his latest Premier League title thoughts on Arsenal. “That would be amazing, an Arsenal title," he said. «I just want them to go for it.
