As Christmas edges nearer many of us will be confirming plans on how to spend the day with family traditions and wintery walks.
This is no different for members of the Royal Family who hold a bundle of traditions and quirky aspects during the festive period. Each year, members of the Royal Family come together for the festive period and traditionally spend time at King Charles' residence, Sandringham House in Norfolk.
The sprawling country house has a bundle of bedrooms and is situated within 20,000 acres - the perfect setting for a royal Christmas.
Ahead of the big day, royal expert Jennie Bond spoke exclusively to OK! about what Christmas will look like for members of the Royal Family, including "some changes". Queen Camilla's family In a break in tradition and as the family grows, TV presenter and journalist Jennie Bond explained this year "will see some changes" as Queen Camilla’s family will "join in on the celebrations at Sandringham." With the Royal Family "now pretty big" Jennie said: "In fact, the lunch will now be served in the ballroom at Sandringham as the dining room would be a bit of a squeeze. "Camilla has two children and five grandchildren and they are all expected to be there.
Her sister, Annabel (who is one of Camilla’s Queen’s Companions) is also likely to be there." William and Kate at Anmer Hall Jennie went on to say: "Sandringham is obviously a big house, but not as big as you might think and bedrooms are limited. So I think we can expect to see William and Kate staying at Anmer Hall as usual.
