Fans of The Beatles can now get their hands on a new Christmas jumper to celebrate the release of their last song and first number one hit in 54 years ‘Now and Then’.
The song features musical contributions from all four members of the group including guitar recorded by the late George Harrison in 1995, and vocals by John Lennon drawn from the song’s original late-70s demo. It was shelved after George was said to be concerned that "technical issues" had ruined it, but it was later released on November 2 after AI technology brought the standards up to scratch.
Now, Notjust Clothing and Earth Merch have teamed up with Apple Corps Ltd to launch the new Christmas jumper. It features the infamous Abbey Road album cover with a seasonal twist.
Designed and manufactured ethically in the UK, the knitted jumper features John, Paul, Ringo and George each wearing a red Christmas hat as they stride across the iconic Abbey Road crossing. Set in a winter wonderland surrounded by a snowscape scene and traditional Fair Isle Christmas motifs with The Beatles logo above.
