Ivan Toney could be the perfect striker for Arsenal. The Brentford forward has scored 32 goals in 66 Premier League games since making the jump from the Championship, earning him links to some of the country's elite.
The England international, who is banned from playing football until the end of January 2024 due to breaches of FA betting rules, has been linked with a move to north London after the Gunners decided against signing a centre-forward in the summer.
Toney netted 20 times for Brentford last season despite missing the final month of the campaign. His powerful style of play has made him one of the most feared players outside the top six. Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have all been linked with the 27-year-old, three teams who are in need of a forward.
Brentford are expected to demand close to £50million for the striker. However, his reluctance to sign a new contract in London means the Bees may be forced to sell either in the January transfer window or next summer.
Now, Toney has dropped a huge hint over his intentions in the future by partnering with one of the leading agencies in the world, CAA Stellar. The agency, led by Jonathan Barnett, represents a number of top players around the world including Eduardo Camavinga, Jack Grealish, Ben Chilwell, Presnel Kimpembe and Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney.
The agency has also overseen a number of blockbuster transfers in the last 18 months. Grealish's £100million move to Manchester City in 2022 is the most high-profile example, with Morgan Gibbs-White, Ibrahima Konate and Gianluca Scamacca earning big moves.
