Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has deleted his social media post in which he claimed he was being made a “scapegoat.”
This was after MUFC manager Erik ten Hag, after the Arsenal game, had said that Sancho was dropped for the Premier League game because of below-par displays in training, sparking an angry reaction from the England star.
This development comes after reported showdown talks between Sancho and Ten Hag and the 23-year-old’s decision is being viewed as a positive outcome.
Earlier, after United were beaten by Arsenal, Ten Hag had said that Sancho was left out because of “his performances in training.”
“You have to reach a level every day at Manchester United and we can make choices in the front line,” Ten Hag had said.
Thereafter Sancho took to X, formerly Twitter, and wrote: :conducted myself in training very well this week” and he didn’t want to let “people saying things that (are) completely untrue.”
