It is always one of the most watched football games across the world, due to the fierce rivalry between the two Spanish teams.
And on Saturday, Barcelona and Real Madrid had extra pressure when a pair of music legends were seen at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys stadium.
Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones put on a very animated display during the tense match which saw Jude Bellingham make his El Clasico debut and FC Barcelona debut their match shirt which featured the logo of the iconic band.
Frontman Mick, 80, seemed in good spirits as he gasped, pointed and cheered energetically throughout the 90 minute fixture.
He was joined by longtime friend, band member and guitarist Ronnie Wood, 76.
Sir Mick rocked a dark paisley printed blazer with a patterned shirt layered underneath.
He paired it with some jeans, held up by a bright blue belt and accessorised with a dark baseball cap that featured their iconic logo.
As he sat engrossed in the match, the Gimme Shelter hitmaker could be seen taking pictures with his phone and wildly gesticulating at the drama unfolding.
At one point, the keen sportsman jumped up from his chair, screaming at the action that was happening in front of him, with the result ending in Real Madrid netting two goals to Barcelona's one.
Also wearing a flamboyant getup was Ronnie. He opted for a blue shirt with floral patterns running down each side, which he left slightly unbuttoned, revealing a crisp white tshirt underneath.
In typical rocker style, he wore a pair of dark sunglasses and accessorised with silver rings.
The limited edition match shirt of FC Barcelona retails at an eye watering $400. The shirt sold which is now sold out, is part of a sponsorship deal with Spotify.
