Julian Nagelsmann could return to management months after being sacked by Bundesligachampions Bayern Munich in March with the Germany national team job available.
The 36-year-old manager has emerged top on the shortlist of managers being lined up by the Germany FA to replace sacked coach Hansi Flick, who was relieved of his post.
According to GOAL, Flick was sacked by the German FA on Sunday After a humiliating defeat at the hands of Japan in an international friendly, suffering a 4-1 loss to the Asian heavyweights.
