Liverpool's dominant performance against Bournemouth on Saturday has seen four of their players included in Garth Crooks' Team of the Week.
The Reds sent a clear message to their title rivals by pushing down on the accelerator in the second half against the Cherries to register a 14th win of the season that has opened up a five-point gap at the top of the Premier League. The 4-0 triumph came courtesy of Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota doubles and both players were included in Crooks' final XI alongside midfielder Alexis Mac Allister and centre-back Ibrahima Konate.
The French defender was in imperious form alongside Virgil van Dijk and it didn't go unnoticed. Writing in his BBC Sport website column, Crooks said: "If Sunday's match at Bournemouth had been a boxing match, the referee would have stopped it. The hosts never laid a glove on Liverpool, who were comfortable 4-0 winners. The Reds dominated possession, while Konate and Virgil van Dijk never gave Dominic Solanke, Justin Kluivert or Luis Sinisterra a kick.

"Konate is looking more accomplished the more I see him. He was immense against Arsenal in the FA Cup earlier this month without Van Dijk by his side, and even better against Bournemouth. He is starting to look every inch a Liverpool captain of the future."
