Hello and welcome to the ECHO's live coverage of Jurgen Klopp's press conference to preview the Merseyside derby.
Liverpool head to Everton on the back of a much-needed 3-1 win at Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday. The result put the Reds second in the table - they trail Arsenal on goal difference - although Manchester City are a point behind both sides and have a game in hand to play.
Arsenal are at home to Chelsea on Tuesday in their own local derby, meaning Liverpool will have to respond to the Gunners once again.
While Everton have not won this fixture at Goodison Park since 2010 and have had their own issues in recent years, Liverpool have struggled to exert much dominance over the Blues away from home as of late. Five of the last six derbies at Goodison have been draws, with the one exception a 4-1 win for the Reds in 2021.
It is a match that will hold particular significance for Klopp, as it will be his final Merseyside derby before leaving Liverpool at the end of the campaign. However, with the title race still wide open, there is definitely more than local pride up for grabs for the German.
Ian Doyle and Theo Squires will be in attendance as the Reds boss speaks to the media ahead of what promises to be a pivotal fixture in the final throes of the season.
