Jurgen Klopp responds to Liverpool supporter protest over ticket price rises

Jurgen Klopp has admitted he understands why Liverpool supporters are staging a protest against rising ticket prices in the club's Europa League quarter-final first-leg tie with Atalanta.

There will be no flags on the Kop at Anfield on Thursday night after the club announced a 2% increase on ticket prices for the 2024/25 campaign for season ticket holders and members general admission tickets.

Calling for further discussions with officials and supporters, Klopp insisted that nothing can get between the team and their fanbase

“That the flags are not there [is not a concern], as long as the people are there it is all good,” he said. “But I understand the concerns and the discussions definitely.
