Harry Kane has had six managers sacked since November 2019 after Bayern Munich confirmed on Wednesday that Thomas Tuchel will leave the club at the end of the season.
Bayern have lost their last three games, and with their season threatening to unravel, the club's board have opted to announce Tuchel's summer departure in a bid to end speculation over his future.
Tuchel will remain in his post for now, but Bayern's search for their next manager is already underway, with Xabi Alonso, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Zinedine Zidane and Antonio Conte all linked with the job.
Awaiting a new manager to walk through the door has become a familiar feeling for Kane, who has seen several high-profile names come and go at regular intervals in recent years.
It all started with Mauricio Pochettino's shock Tottenham exit in 2019 just five months after leading the club to the Champions League final.
Spurs lost in Madrid to Liverpool and failed to recover from that setback the following season, as they slumped to 14th in the table and lost 7-2 to Bayern in the Champions League to seal Pochettino's fate.
A matter of hours later, Jose Mourinho was appointed as Pochettino's successor, and vowed to help Kane 'explode' onto the world stage.
He kept his word as Kane enjoyed a prolific spell under the two-time Champions League-winning coach, scoring 45 goals in 62 appearances, but Mourinho lasted less than 18 months at Tottenham.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy relieved Mourinho of his duties just days before the team were due to play in the 2021 Carabao Cup final against Manchester City. Tottenham lost at Wembley, with Kane unable to inspire his boyhood club to victory.
