Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has reportedly told his team that Kylian Mbappe will be joining them next season.
Mbappe, 25 will be out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain when this season ends. He was close to moving to Real Madrid in 2022 but decided to stay at Parc des Princes.
Although Madrid are the favourites to sign him, other clubs including Liverpool and Arsenal have previously shown interest in the World Cup winner. There hasn't been an official announcement from Madrid yet, but it seems like things are moving behind the scenes.

According to Foot Mercato, a tweet from Mbappe's international teammate Aurelien Tchouameni with the popcorn emoji wasn't just a coincidence. It's said that Perez has shared the news of Mbappe's signing with the Real Madrid squad, which would see Tchouameni link up with the France captain at the Santiago Bernabeu.
While a move to Madrid continues to look likely, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta recently refused to rule out the forward joininng the Gunners. However, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has shared his view on the eye-watering finances that would be required, despite Mbappe possibly being available as a free agent.
"Obviously, I'm not involved in that, but I can tell you I'd be surprised if all the top clubs were," Klopp admitted. "The top clubs I know, for most of them it will be tricky - wages, signing-on fee."
